| The Society's highest award, the Julian A. Steyermark Award, | ||
| went to Art Christ. Edgar Denison received the Erna R. | ||
| Eisendrath Memorial Education Award; Bill Summers, also a | ||
| WGNSS member, received the Society's Research Award. The | ||
| fourth award went to Fred Husman of Crestwood for his actions in | ||
| having a rare plant site declared a Missouri Natural Area. | ||
