Petersen was there, and one of the "lost" orchids was found, but

at the Museum.  Field trip will follow breakfast if you're aren't

Jun. 60 The May 20 Botany meeting proved to be very interesting.  Director
Milonski of the Busch Wildlife Area reviewed the present manage-
ment plan and showed pictures of his work on ducks in Manitoba

Apr. 60 Notice:  The Annual Meeting of the Missouri Chapter of the Nature
Conservancy will be held on April 30 and May 1 at the National
Council of State Garden Club Building, 4401 Magnolia Ave.,
St. Louis, Mo.  Two field trips scheduled.  List of scheduled events
and activities given.
Sep. 60 Mr. Jim Jackson, of the Conservation Commission, will teach a

Jy-Ag. 60 Dr. Charles N. Jordan, who retired from the St. Louis University
Chemistry Dept. last fall, was honored at a dinner attended by 55 
colleagues and former students.
Jy-Ag. 60 Milonski Transferred - Michael C. Milonski, Area Manager of the 
August A. Busch Wildlife Area, was transferred and promoted 
effective July 1 to head up an accelerated program of Upland Game
Food and Cover restoration. He will relocate to Jefferson City.
Sep. 60 Congratulations to Al and Karen Haller on the birth of a son, 
Christopher Karl, July 8.  
Sep. 60 Mr. Jim Jackson, of the Conservation Commission, will teach a 
class in Conservation at Washington University this next semester.
Oct. 60 We extend the sympathy of WGNSS to Miss Lanier Taylor on the
death of her mother.
Oct. 60 Our best wishes go to Mr. Cecil Criger and Miss Lanier Taylor on 
their marriage on Sept. 24
Nov. 60 Marshall Magner to Join the Webster Groves County Council, to 
fill out the unexpired term of Gus O. Nations, and will serve until
April 1962.
Nov. 60 The Jim Jacksons missed the Audubon Meeting at the Lake of the 
Ozarks, but  they were busy elsewhere.  Glenn Stuart Jackson 
arrived on Oct. 1.  Congratulations to the proud Mamma and Papa.
Nov. 60 Dr. E. P. Meiners has died.  He has been a WGNSS member for
many years.  He owned one of the largest insect collections in the
United States, and this has been willed to the Missouri Entomology
Dept.
