Oct. 47 O'Byrne, Stuart Rockwoods Caravan at the Lodge - Group led by Naturalist
Harold O'Byrne came to Ranken to visit the Lesser Ranken Cave,
about 100 yards from the Lodge.   Members of the Society
escorted the visitors to the cave.  Good description of the cave
interior and includes a cave map.

the seeds in a honey locust seed pod.  A titmouse tried to do the
same but couldn't emulate the woodpecker.

in Ste. Genevieve County, Sunday, April 20, 9 AM
Jul. 47 Combined Field Trip to Mr. Samuel Alfend's cottage on the
Meramec River, Sunday, July 6, 10 AM.  Will feature a 
Botany Field Trip led by Arthur Christ, Music Group meeting, and
probably swimming and canoeing.
